Product description
Large 114mm furler
Suitable for boats up to 7-8m of medium tonnage.
It is used on cruisers, sport catamarans, etc. which have a classic steel forestay.
The sail is usually mounted by means of hooks or directly hinged.
Breaking load: 2600 Kg

Compatible with RF1247 swivel connection
The upper and lower pins turn independently.
The lower pin is fixed to the boat, the upper pin rotates in order to roll the jib / genoa.
The diameter of the coils are 114mm.
Assembly:
The furler in question is very simple to assemble. Just fix it with the lower pin to the deckhouse of the boat, using a jumper.
In the upper part of the drum, the forestay must be fixed.
Then the stay is fixed to the mast head to a swivel attachment (RF1247), so that it can rotate on its vertical axis (i.e. the sail is rolled around the stay).
In the package, the RF1246 winder is complete with fork to fix it to the bow jumper and drum.
For those wishing to mount it autonomously, we recommend purchasing the RF1247 swivel to be placed on the masthead.
